Chimera具雙重意義，一是神話中具獅頭、山羊身與蛇尾的噴火怪獸，原意為she-goat（女山羊），而今，又代表基因生殖技術中的嵌合體，意指由兩個同種的受精卵發育而來的細胞或兩個不同物種的細胞組成的“馬賽克”機體。此作品以Chimera為命題，暗喻生物物種「人」已經成為有機與無機的嵌合體，透過數位載具藉由數位傳訊，建構自己的生存領域，數位工具成為身體軀體的一部份，真實記憶與數位記憶，在虛擬與實體空間互滲交融，成為具演化繁衍能力的混種機體。作品以藍牙手機作為偵測對象，手機是現代人的科技義肢，是存在於此的存在證實，因此，當觀者攜帶藍牙手機進入，則成為Chimera世界的一個嵌合體，此嵌合體會聚集成為叢集，彼此互動連結、成長進化茁壯與吞噬消融，並建立自己的存在樣貌。

Chimera with a double meaning, first, the myth of a head, goat body and tail of the fire-breathing monster, the original intent for the she-goat (female goat), Today, and on behalf of genetic reproductive technology in the chimera, which refers to the same species by the two development from the fertilized egg cell or two cells of different species of the "mosaic" body. This work “Chimer” implies biological species "human" has become the organic and inorganic chimera. Digital tools become a part of the physical body, human constructs living field through technological apparatus. Real memory and digital memory blend infiltrating in a virtual and physical world with an ability to reproduce the evolution of hybrid organisms. Cell phone is the modern technological prostheses and creates a sphere to prove the existence of being, as a detection object. When the participant enter the scene, he/she becomes a Chimera in the world of Chimera. Chimeras will gather as cluster, link and interactive with each other. They will swallow and grow, create an evolution process to establish the existence of their own appearance.
