Scope and Objectives
The Organizing Committee of the special track on Gender Equality in Academic and Research Institutions invites scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to submit papers for our upcoming contribution to the 14th ArtsIT international conference. This special track is an opportunity to advance the discourse and share innovative strategies for fostering gender equality in academia and research.
This conference track draws inspiration from the pioneering efforts of the GENIE (Gender Initiative for Excellence) program at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, which has implemented groundbreaking measures to improve gender balance and create an inclusive academic environment. The GENIE Action Toolbox and related initiatives serve as a foundation for the themes and goals of this event.
