The choice of indigenous engravings in the image of the 2023 International ARTSIT Congress on Art and Technology is a manifestation inspired by the intersection of art and technology. Hosting this important event in Brazil made it essential to integrate the narratives, artistic expressions, and traditional knowledge of indigenous peoples. Technology, in turn, serves as a powerful tool to amplify and preserve these cultural expressions by incorporating traditional elements into contemporary artworks and through digital platforms that engage with indigenous representation. This artistic choice aims to contribute to a deeper and more inclusive intercultural dialogue, promoting understanding and appreciation of the cultural roots that shape the richness and diversity of Brazilian society, as well as the political voice of indigenous communities in the pursuit of a more just and equitable society.
